Berhala Island

Berhala Island is a Sabah island located near the entrance of Sandakan Bay. This 5 acre wooded island is a haven for birds, particularly raptors such as Brahminy kites, serpent eagles, and sea eagles.
Today, Pulau Berhala is being developed for tourism, notably for Sandakan visitors. It boasts a steep rock that rises out of the water, as well as a stretch of white sandy beach that is great for picnics and snorkeling.
