The Murut believe a Spirit guards the Batu Punggul. Legend has claimed that the Longhouse Bunggul community formerly dwelt across the river.
The adventure begins with river rapids, however, during the dry season of the year, maneuvring of longboat can be quite a challenge and require teamwork.
